Trafford Hall is an impressive listed Georgian Manor house situated in extensive private award winning gardens, and set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. They provide a personal, caring and friendly wedding experience in a stunning setting that is a beautiful location for your wedding reception.

We are licensed for ceremonies for up to 80 guests in the Ballroom and Hawthorn. For individual room capacities please go to our website.

By choosing Trafford Hall for your special day you can be sure that while you enjoy the beautiful surroundings we are doing our utmost to protect and respect the environment in which we all live and work. All profits generated by weddings and events at Trafford Hall are reinvested into the charitable work carried out at the hall as well as the development of our environmentally friendly facilities.

We offer a wide variety of menus so there is something for everyone. All our drinks are reasonably priced and if there is a drink you would really like to have available at your wedding, which doesn't appear on the list, please let us know and we will try and source this in.
Our late license bar is until 1am (and we don't charge extra to have a late bar) The music license is also until 1am.

"Last August we enjoyed the best day of our lives at Trafford Hall!!! It was our wedding day and we could not have asked for a better venue, with the friendliest and most helpful of staff.

We chose this venue because of its amazing gardens and Victorian charm. We would say we had a smaller sized wedding than some, with 60 guests during the day the venue was just the right size for this many, we may have struggled slightly if it rained but luckily we were blessed with the weather which meant we could enjoy the grounds.

We chose to have a relaxed feel to the day, having a BBQ instead of a sit down meal. Many of our guests have since commented on the fantastic and plentiful food.

We had guests of all age range, kids that ran themselves ragged all day, young adults that enjoyed the well-priced bar and grandparents that were very well cared and catered for by the staff.

Through the planning John and Emyr took the stress out of the wedding for us, they were well organised behind the scenes meaning we could just relax, knowing that they were taking care of the running of the day.

The bedrooms were nice, comfortable and clean. All of our guests that stayed over enjoyed the ease of staying at the venue. The breakfast the next morning was much needed to fight off the hangover and it was also very tasty. Many Thanks"

"We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day, from the setting in the woodland (a lifelong dream) to the arrival drinks & canapés, the wedding breakfast, right through to the evening reception. Every part of our day was wonderful, it ran smoothly and tasted delicious! And the reason it all went so well is because of the fantastic people at Trafford Hall. With Jon and Emyr who from the very beginning were open to all of our ideas and were able to support us through big decision making processes, right across the team to house keeping who every morning in the days leading up to our wedding would take the time to chat, wish us well and genuinely seemed excited about the day.
The fact that Trafford Hall operates on an environmentally friendly ethos is absolutely a shining asset to this venue and something that my husband and I feel very passionately about. How wonderful to find an environmentally smart, charity led organisation in such a magical setting, in the North West – a hidden gem! Only made better by the fantastic attitude of the people who run it day to day. With Jon and Emyr's efficiency, organisation and expertise in the process of planning a wedding, we could not have wished for a better experience. Their help and flexibility throughout from helping us to realise our vision of an outdoor ceremony down to choosing the food and drink that worked best together and suited our day. Even the small touch of having edible flowers in the arrival drinks; something I had mentioned a long time before was just perfect!
