Our circular Compass Room steals the show with 360-degree views of The Quays from its private balcony. The Hexagon Room has views of the waterways and is an intimate space for ceremonies and smaller receptions.

The Hexagon Room—Capacity – up to 100
Accessed by its own bridged walkway, the Hexagon Room is intimate and personal with breathtaking views across the water, making it a great civil ceremony venue. A unique and contemporary space, the room can be dressed to suit your theme and colour scheme. Add your personal touches and create the perfect setting for your magical ceremony.

The Compass Room—Capacity – up to 150 for wedding breakfast and 200 for an evening reception

The Compass Room - a circular space with floor to ceiling windows - is a truly stunning location for larger ceremonies. Full blackout blinds can be controlled at the touch of a button so whether you want to exchange vows in a candlelit, intimate and romantic atmosphere or go for the wow factor with stunning 360-degree views, the Compass Room offers a perfect setting and is guaranteed to take your breath away.

We have our own experienced and highly-dedicated Wedding and Civil Partnership co-ordinator who knows everything there is to know about holding your celebration at The Lowry, from choosing the perfect menu to offering advice on flowers, entertainment, the photographer and much more. we understand that each celebration is unique, so we'll work closely with you to ensure that your day is exactly as you want it.

Directions by Road

The Lowry is 10 minutes’ drive from Manchester City Centre, 20 minutes’ drive from Manchester Airport, and a quarter of a mile from the motorway network, giving access from all over the North West and beyond.

From the M60 take junction 12 for the M602. Salford Quays is a quarter of a mile from junction 3 of the M602. Follow the brown Lowry logo signs.
