“We recently had our wedding reception at Nunsmere Hall, and we can categorically say that it really did prove to be a fantastic venue for us! We chose to hire the venue exclusively for our reception and evening festivities, and would have to say that it was worth every penny.

Among the many benefits of hiring Nunsmere exclusively was the opportunity to make as much use as possible of the large amount of reception rooms on the ground floor. In addition to the bar and the impressive Crystal Suite for the wedding breakfast, we were able to use no less than 4 other rooms, each of which was used by our suppliers for a different purpose - from a couple of games rooms, to a room in which we had a soft play area set up (to which some of our younger guests could escape), and a room dedicated to the serving of canapés and evening food. All the rooms are extremely smart (one of them is actually a small library!), and this is without mentioning the very welcoming reception area, generous outside terrace and the beautiful grounds - which proved to be wonderful for photographs…

We would have no hesitation in recommending Nunsmere as a wedding venue. All the staff there are a credit to it, and I have no doubt that we will return there in future - not just to take in the wonderful atmosphere, but also to see the friendly faces that work there.”
