Located on the northern coast of the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula overlooking Porthdinllaen Bay, in a truly magical location, the former quarry village of Nant Gwrtheyrn provides the perfect setting for your wedding day. The Nant has all the required facilities to make your wedding a truly memorable occasion. No matter what the season, the 200 acre site with its well-maintained grounds and beautiful coastal views provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

Our weekend package offers you sole use of the B&B accommodation and function room, allowing you to relax and enjoy your celebrations. Stay the weekend and enjoy a family dinner on the Friday night, a laid back breakfast on the Saturday morning, followed by the main event. Take a walk and explore the beautiful valley before saying your goodbyes on the Sunday.

Our experienced team of staff are always on hand, delivering a personal service, and are more than happy to help with any preparations before or during your big day.

When getting married at Nant Gwrtheyrn, you have the option of either choosing a religious ceremony in the on-site Chapel (Seilo) or a civil ceremony in the Hall, known as ‘Ystafell Rhys’. Seilo was built in 1878 to serve the quarrying village of Nant Gwrtheyrn. Today, the chapel has been fully renovated and is the perfect space to host a traditional wedding ceremony. Civil ceremonies and civil partnerships are held in a part of the Hall which offers spectacular coastal views.

Whether you are arranging a lavish celebration or prefer the idea of an intimate wedding with only close family and friends, the stunning Hall at Nant Gwrtheyrn offers a unique and memorable setting. The Hall can accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast and up to 300 guests for a buffet style evening party. If you are planning a more intimate celebration and feel that the hall is too large, the use of a partition wall may be better suited to your specific requirements. Guests can step out on to the impressive decking to enjoy a glass of champagne and canapés whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Porthdinllaen and the Wicklow Mountains, from time to time.

If you feel that the hall is too large, it is possible to host the bridal feast in the conservatory which is the perfect location for a more personal occasion for family and close friends. With panoramic views towards Porthdinllaen, Anglesey and beyond towards the Wicklow Mountains, the conservatory restaurant is ideal for any occasion.

Choose from our specially tailored menus for wedding breakfasts and evening party menus. Carefully selected wine lists and drinks packages are also available to suit your needs. Our Catering Manager is more than happy to discuss any specific requirements or ideas that you may have for your wedding breakfast. Accommodation for up to 125 people.

Guests have the option of staying in our newly refurbished listed quarrymen’s cottages. All our stylish rooms are of 5* standard (Visit Wales group accommodation) with en-suite bathrooms. We also offer some family rooms and four self-catering cottages as an optional wedding package. We offer a friendly, personal service catering for your exact needs to make the whole experience as magical as possible for everyone.

Nant Gwrtheyrn is near the village of Llithfaen, which is 4 miles from the A499 arterial road which links Caernarfon and Pwllheli.
