Accommodation

Our light airy rooms are both contemporary and comfortable. Top quality beds are equipped with goose down pillows and duvets, and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Our minibars are well stocked with quality wines and ales, as well as fresh milk for clients who wish to make themselves tea or (cafetière) coffee.

Safes are laptop friendly with internal charging points.

Bose CD/radios sound great and are very simple to operate. Other standard features include NEW Flat screen TVs with satellite channels, blu-ray and DVD player, full WiFi throughout, Broadband connection point, DDI lines and voicemail.

Directions by Road

At the roundabout take the 4^th exit sign-posted Follow signs for Nottingham City Centre, Nottingham Castle and the Tales of Robin Hood. From the South leave the M1 at Junction 24.

This will lead you to Maid Marion Way. Pass the Gala Casino on your left, then immediately turn left into Park Row which is sign posted Castle and Mount Street car park.

Follow this road to the top of the hill.

You will find Hart’s at the top on the left through the black iron gates.

From the North leave the M1 at Junction 26.

Follow signs for Nottingham A610, Nottingham City Centre, Nottingham Castle and the Tales of Robin Hood.

You will come to a roundabout where you will need to take the 2^nd exit, following the road straight on to Maid Marion Way.

Turn right at the lights into Friar Lane. Follow the road round to the right, up a slight hill and round to the right passing Freeth Cartwright solicitors on your left.

As you pass Freeth Cartwright you need to take the immediate left into Cumberland Street. You will pass an NCP car park on your right.

Turn left at the end of the road, it’s a strange junction, on to Park Row.

Follow the road to the top of the hill. Look left and you will see Hart’s through the black iron gates.

"I have always wanted to get married at St Barnabas Cathedral in Nottingham, a church which holds a special connection with my family. We wanted a relaxed venue close to the church which ideally meant we would need a city centre location. We looked at various venues in Nottingham, nothing came close to Harts. Even better that my husband proposed to me there. We arranged a meeting with the wedding co-ordinator who was fantastic. She really knew her stuff and gave us plenty of ideas of what we could do on the day. It was an easy decision to make to book Harts.
After the church ceremony our 100 guests made the 5 minute walk to Harts lead by a piper, to this day a highlight of the day. We were greeted with a drinks reception and made our way into the beautiful, secluded garden which overlooked the city of Nottingham. We were lucky enough to have a glorious sunny day.

Canapes were served whilst people chatted and enjoyed the view.
The piper continued to play in the background and we invited David Fox to perform some magic and keep our guests entertained.

The drinks reception was followed by the Wedding Breakfast. The food was fantastic and of a very high standard which many guests commented on.
The day was finished off on a high with Richie Muir providing the evening entertainment which went down a storm.

Sally Martin our wedding co-ordinator deserves a special mention, nothing was too much trouble despite our many questions and emails before the event and looking after us and our guests on the day itself. She ensured everything went according to plan and made sure the reception room looked absolutely stunning. This was really important to me. Due to timings I was unable to help with setting up the room myself so I had to put my trust in Sally that everything was just how I wanted it. I had nothing to worry about.

All of the staff did such an amazing job on the day, it was nothing but seamless from start to finish. I would highly recommend Harts as a venue"

From getting ready in the bridal suite with my bridesmaids, the ceremony, Prosecco on the lawn, the wedding breakfast to dancing the night away at our reception (with bacon butties for supper!), every moment ran like clockwork.

Our wedding co-ordinator Kirsty was so lovely and supportive; a real pleasure to plan our wedding with and to have with us on the day.
The food was amazing! Lots of options and very tasty.

We used Spotify playlists through the sound system for our music which worked perfectly.
