Function Suites

At the resort, we have two function suites available both perfect for your wedding reception.

Our newly refurbished Ambassador Suite situated on the First Floor with a stunning back drop view over the old course, surrounded by a balcony to enjoy the view on.

This suite boasts a private bar and can hold up to 100- 220 guests, this suite is flexible giving you the choice of suite size for your special day.

The Ambassador can you offer you two bars in the suite along with coloured lighting to really set the mood for your evening reception.

Our newly refurbished contemporary Diplomat Suite situated on the First Floor offers an intimate evening event. With large windows your view of our 18-hole golf course is breath taking. This suite offers your guests access to the balcony to enjoy the sunshine,

This suite boasts a separate private bar area with a cosy welcoming feel. This Suite can hold up to 160 guests.

The Formby Hall Spa offers a sumptuous oasis of peace and tranquility. A haven away from the rigours of daily life. As a leading luxury spa hotel in the North West of England, it is perfect for relaxing spa breaks, spa weekends or spa day treatments.

All our spa facilities, including the immaculate treatment rooms, are fitted out to the highest standards imaginable, and offer an extensive range of treatments and holistic therapies for both men and women. Formby Hall Spa also offers Fake Bake spray tan for a healthy, natural looking tan, and OPI treatments for hands and feet, as well as the Shellac 14 day polish.

Cleanse and purify your body in our sauna and steam rooms, or simply sink into the spa bath to be stimulated and soothed. We have 7 luxury treatment rooms, including 2 doubles, available for massages and treatments such as wraps and facials, manicures and pedicures by OPI that are all carried out by our highly trained therapists.

We offer both Day and Stay packages as well as a number of individual treatments that you can pick from to make your Spa visit a truly unique experience.

Accommodation

All of our guest rooms offer understated, beautiful and contemporary design, created with luxury and comfort in mind. It is our aim to make you want to come back and stay again and we are confident that you will want to stay on longer than you originally planned!

On behalf of myself and Mrs Thompson I would just like to say a huge big thank you for all of your hard work in helping to make our wedding day so special. Right from the first time we met you (without an appointment I might add) you have made the planning of our wedding so easy. Nothing was too much bother for you. You always replied to our correspondence quickly and efficiently. Whenever we came up to Formby Hall you always gave us a warm welcome and made us feel calm and assured during our planning meetings. "Thank you for your email. Our day was lovely thank you. Dean was fantastic on the day and couldnt do enough for us. The food was perfect, the room was stunning and the day ran really smoothly.

One little tiny critique just to perhaps consider in the future - or we may have just been unlucky. After the food a few of the tables, primarily the top table wandered to see other guests, every empty table was totally cleared of all drinks we lost our toast drinks and several bottles of wine - this was a little disappointing.

Please dont think im being negative i just wanted to let you know.

Not to deter from the amazing day we had and the effort made by you and your team to ensure the day was perfect - even the sun was out.

Special thanks to obviously your self and Dean but 3 people stood out to us - Tracy on reception - what an asset to formby hall all the way through she was so helpful and accommodating to us.

Kath the lady on the bar downstairs who helped me with my hair disaster and the gentleman on the bar i cant remember is name but was from the cocktail bar downstairs seriously good service.
