Bolton School is set in private grounds and the building dates back to the 16^th Century. Bolton School is truly a  most magnificent wedding venue and one of the finest in Lancashire. The listed building can accommodate all your needs, as well as providing a unique atmosphere for your wedding day.

Each wedding conducted here is bespoke and we pride ourselves on catering to your specific requirements. With only one wedding per day we can guarantee you our total dedication to ensuring that your day runs smoothly, giving you memories which will last a lifetime.

Civil Ceremony
Bolton School has two licensed rooms for a Civil Ceremony. The Great Hall was built at the beginning of the last century and creates an awe-inspiring atmosphere for any wedding ceremony. A unique combination of traditional and contemporary creates the perfect union, as the majestic aspects of a Church merge with a non-religious ceremony.

The Arts Centre Main Hall was converted in 1993 and re-opened by the late Princess of Wales. The beautifully restored banqueting hall provides an intimate and romantic setting, perfect for any ceremony.

Wedding Breakfast
With all our food prepared in house, Bolton School prides itself on providing a superb selection of quality homemade dishes, enabling you to create a menu that reflects your taste.
Once the wedding breakfast has been served and the speeches delivered, unwind and enjoy our selection of drinks and fine wines, and indulge in our delicious buffet selection. The ambient lighting in the Main Hall creates the perfect party atmosphere in which to dance the night away!
